Dear Oak Valley II Residents,
Please be advised that NPG Asphalt will be on-site on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM to install red curbing at specific locations throughout the community. This work is being conducted in accordance with Assembly Bill 413 (AB 413), which mandates increased visibility around crosswalks and intersections to enhance pedestrian safety. Specifically, the bill prohibits parking within 20 feet of any marked or unmarked crosswalks.
Once the red curbing is installed, parking in these areas will be strictly prohibited. Vehicles parked next to red curbs will be subject to immediate towing without warning, in compliance with local and state regulations. Please refer to the attached map for the designated red curb installation locations.
We appreciate your cooperation as we take steps to improve safety and ensure compliance with state law.
